The Notre Dame men’s golf team will travel to sunny Scottsdale, Arizona this weekend to take part in the inaugural Maui Jim Intercollegiate, hosted by Georgia State University at Mirabel Golf Club.
The Irish are blazing full-steam-ahead after their top five finish last week in the USF Olympic Invitational, and will look to continue their success in the new tournament, boasting a 16-team field.
“We're looking to build on what was a great start, through the first 27 holes at Olympic Club, by carrying strong play through all three rounds. I'm confident our team can do so,” head golf coach Jim Kubinski said. “We've seen so much growth, from so many players, the last few months that we're excited for the opportunity before us in Arizona.”
