Patrick Griffin

Patrick Griffin, the Madden-Hennebry Professor of History and chair of Notre Dame’s Department of History, has been elected to the Council of the Omohundro Institute of Early American History & Culture.

Founded in 1943 at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, the Institute supports research on the history and cultures of North America from 1450 to 1820.

It hosts conferences and publishes William and Mary Quarterly, as well as scholarly monographs on a variety of topics.
