He’s no longer the fresh-faced 22-year-old kid who came out of Notre Dame as one of the top graduates of the Mendoza School of Business in 2010, postponing a promising career on Wall Street and the business world to chase his dream in another kind of business — the hurt business.

Against all odds, Mike Lee became a professional boxer.

The dream is still alive. The last six years have been mostly satisfying, if not particularly easy for Lee. The reviews of his early fights were generally negative.  Some in the media said he simply didn’t have the requisite ring skills, even though he was undefeated as an amateur and began his professional career under the guidance of respected trainer Ronnie Shields.
