Service to others is a major tenet of the Catholic faith. 

Notre Dame students have many opportunities to participate in service learning and community volunteer activities—for example, Urban Plunge, Relay for Life, and the Robinson Community Learning Center.

Alumni, parents, and friends of the University have the opportunity to participate in this tradition of service through their local Notre Dame clubs.
