An ND Tradition: The Lacrosse Bagpiper

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Notre Dame junior Eddie Glazener's final warm-up before Saturday's NCAA lacrosse semifinal against Denver University will take place in a tunnel at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field.

It is there that Glazener will play a few bars of "Amazing Grace" to prepare for what he finds the most nerve-wracking part of his game day.
His role as a starter in the Irish defense may be of paramount importance, but it comes after his performance as a bagpiper in a Notre Dame lacrosse ritual that has taken place for 20 seasons.
