Nitesh ChawlaIBM has announced that Nitesh Chawla, the University of Notre Dame’s Frank Freimann Collegiate Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering and director of the University’s Interdisciplinary Center for Network Science and Applications, is one of the winners of its 2013 Big Data and Analytics Faculty Awards for top-rated curricula and research that mix business and technical skills.

He joins 13 other researchers from around the world who will receive $10,000 each for top-rated curricula designed to develop business and technical skills required for data-crunching jobs.
