After turning in the best offensive performance of his collegiate career, sophomore Bryan Costabile has been selected to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's Team of the Week for his play in the victory over Detroit Mercy.

Bryan Costabile set career highs in goals (5), assists (2) and points (7) in Sunday’s season-opening win over Detroit Mercy. Costabile accounted for half of Notre Dame’s goals and played a part in 70 percent of the team’s scoring in the victory.

With the win the Irish improved to 25-5 in season openers under Baumer Family Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Kevin Corrigan and 30-7 in program history.

Costabile and the Irish are off next weekend before hosting Richmond at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra/ESPN3 via the Watch ESPN app.
