Workers broke ground earlier this month on a project that will expand Innovation Park at Notre Dame by 38,500 square feet.
Construction of the addition to the three-story business incubator on Angela Boulevard is being led by Indianapolis-based Shiel Sexton Co., the construction management firm for the project.
The second phase of construction comes as the incubator has operated close to or at full capacity with high-tech startups for the past five years. The addition will provide much-needed leasable space for startups launched by undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Notre Dame and other entrepreneurs.
