It puzzles people at first because, really, who expects to see a New York Stock Exchange trading post outside of, say, the New York Stock Exchange trading floor?
Yet, here it stands in the Potenziani Family Atrium at the Mendoza College of Business — an antique hub that was the scene of frantic buying and selling from 1929 to 1981 until it was replaced. Now, this relic serves as a rare piece of financial history.
In celebration of the 20th year the post has stood in the atrium, please enjoy this interactive feature.
