The University of Notre Dame women’s tennis team wrapped a strong weekend of competition Saturday, with three Irish players winning their respective singles draws at the Wildcat Invitational at Northwestern’s Vandy Christie Tennis Center.

Freshmen Cameron Corse and Ally Bojczuk and junior Rachel Chong turned in undefeated weekends, winning the Black, Orange and Yellow flights, respectively. Corse defeated Lewis’ Dora Andrejski; Bojczuk downed DePaul’s Alina Kuzmenkova; and Chong upended Michigan State’s Lexi Baylis.

Also victorious in singles Sunday were freshman Caroline Dunleavy (defeating Alexia Petrovic of Utah) and sophomore Zoe Spence (over Aspasia Avgeri of DePaul).

The Irish also went 4-0 in doubles, with 56th-ranked Brooke Broda and Allison Miller defeating Habiba Shaker and Sara Kuutila of Michigan State; Corse and Spence downing Utah’s Brianna Turley and Margo Pletcher; Chong and Dunleavy defeating Lesley Foe and Isabella Franks of Marquette; and Hayden Siegfried and Bojczuk besting Pitt’s Claudia Bartolome and Camila Moreno.
