Dozens of people showed up Tuesday night at Annunciation BVM School in McSherrystown to learn how parents can play a more positive role in their child's athletics.

They heard from Kristin Sheehan, a co-director of the "Play Like a Champion Today" program developed through the University of Notre Dame. Since its founding in 2006, "Play Like a Champion Today" has educated more than 35,000 coaches and 15,000 parents about creating a positive sports culture for young people.
