Robert V. Stahelin, adjunct associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame and associate professor of biochemistry and molecular biology at Indiana University School of Medicine-South Bend (IUSM-SB), has been awarded IUSM-SB's Navari Family Endowed Chair.
The award was announced by Carl F. Marfurt, Ph.D., interim associate dean and director of IUSM-SB, who said the award recognizes Stahelin’s “outstanding track record of past and ongoing research accomplishments.”
The Navari Family Endowed Chair will provide funding in support of Stahelin’s research such as lab personnel and equipment, graduate student assistance and other needs of an active scholar and teacher. The chair was funded by former IUSM-SB associate dean and director Rudolph M. Navari, M.D., Ph.D., FACP, and his wife, Jane.
