Women's Lacrosse Continues Academic Success

The continued dual success streak of the Notre Dame women’s lacrosse program officially extended into a sixth year under head coach Christine Halfpenny on Wednesday. The Irish have yet to miss the NCAA Championships under Halfpenny’s watch and, today, the program also earned its sixth IWLCA Academic Honor Squad designation for having earned a team cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

In addition to Notre Dame’s aggregate team recognition, Emma Claire Fontenot and Sydney Cardozo earned individual honors on the IWLCA’s Academic Honor Roll for being juniors or older with at least a 3.5 GPA.
