Alumni Serve

More than 100 volunteers visited Notre Dame July 22-26 for Family Volunteer Camp, an alumni tradition that engages families in community service and helps parents teach their children the value of giving back.

This year, volunteers tackled a variety of projects to help more than a dozen non-profit agencies in the South Bend area. The work included a mix of tasks, including painting, cleaning, and gardening, as well as sorting clothes for a thrift store, visiting a homeless shelter, and serving a picnic lunch to moms and kids served by a day center.
