NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Sophomore midfielder Andie Aldave has been named the ACC's Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon (April 16).

Aldave earns the honor for the second time this season after a six-point outing in Notre Dame's 15-7 victory at #12 Duke on Sunday, April 14.

She scored the first three goals of that victory, and finished with six points on four goals and two assists. She also recorded five draw controls to help the Irish earn a 16-7 advantage on the draw.

Aldave also collected four points (3G, 1A) and 15 draw controls in Notre Dame's 20-1 win over Butler last Wednesday, April 10th.

Aldave has racked up 35 goals, 17 assists and a program-record 122 draw controls for the Irish so far this season, and was named an Inside Lacrosse First Team Midseason All-American back on April 4th.

She is joined by Savannah Buchanan, Samantha Giacolone, Maddie Howe, Makenna Pearsall and Hannah Proctor on the watch list for the 2019 Tewaaraton Award, which honors the top women's lacrosse player in the country.
