  • The 2019 Camping World Bowl is the first-ever meeting between the Fighting Irish and the Iowa State Cyclones.
  • This marks Notre Dame’s second trip to the Camping World Bowl. The Irish played the 2017 Citrus Bowl in Camping World Stadium in Orlando, beating LSU 21-17, and also took part in the 2011 Champs Sports Bowl, which eventually became the Camping World Bowl, falling to Florida State, 14-18.

Gross to Make NHL Debut For Arizona

DETROIT — The Arizona Coyotes announced former Notre Dame defenseman Jordan Gross will make his National Hockey League debut on Sunday night versus the Detroit Red Wings (Dec. 22). 

Gross, who was recalled on Dec.18, is in his second full professional season after skating with the Irish from 2014-18. Sunday’s 7 p.m. ET game can be viewed on ESPN+, Fox Sports Detroit, and Fox Sports Arizona. Read More

The Notre Dame Law School Moot Court Board hosted the fourth annual National Appellate Advocacy Tournament for Religious Freedom on Nov. 8-9 in the Patrick F. McCartan Courtroom. NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Cale Morris was named the Big Ten First Star of the Week and Matt Hellickson earned Third Star of the Week honors the conference announced on Tuesday morning (Dec. 17). 

Morris, a senior goaltender, and Hellickson, a junior defenseman, helped the Irish close out the first semester with a win 3-0 over Penn State on Saturday night (Dec. 14).  Read More
