Ten years ago, graduates of the University of Notre Dame started Better World Books with an idea to not just sell books, but to promote literacy. This Saturday, the company will be saying thank you to the community where it was born.
John Udja, vice-president of marketing, said 50,000 children’s books will be given away.
“In celebration of the company's 10th anniversary, we're hosting a book giveaway of 50,000 pre-loved children's books as a way to say thank you to the local community, which has supported our growth for the past decade,” he said. “We are incredibly grateful for that support.”
