You may remember in March 2014 a Notre Dame junior, Nicole Sganga, who was studying on the London Undergraduate Program, won a contest to go on assignment with Pulitzer-prize winning journalist Nick Kristof. The purpose of the assignment was to travel to a developing country and raise awareness about global poverty.
For the past week, Sganga has been blogging on the New York Times website from Burma, providing snapshots of local life as she visits clinics, schools, villages, and refugee camps.
