Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Tyus Jones claimed the MVP award for the Las Vegas Summer League on Sunday, but Jerian Grant got the last laugh in the Chicago Bulls' 84-82 overtime win over Minnesota on Monday.
He earned MVP honors for the summer-league championship game, per Sam Smith of the Bulls' official website. The point guard finished with a double-double, recording 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Grant's performance, along with the Bulls' summer-league title, will have fans more optimistic ahead of the 2016-17 season.
