NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Fighting Irish Media, the video production, storytelling and athletics communication arm of the University of Notre Dame athletics department, has announced a behind-the-scenes, all-access miniseries that will chronicle the No. 3-ranked Fighting Irish football team's postseason.
Notre Dame recently capped a 12-0 regular season, the program's 13th unbeaten, untied regular season in school history. Dick Corbett Head Football Coach Brian Kelly has now led the Irish to back-to-back 10-win seasons -- a first time for the program since 1992-93. In fact, Notre Dame owns a 13-game winning streak, which is tied for the third longest in school history since 1950, behind the school-record 23 straight in 1988-89 and 17 consecutive in 1992-93. The 1973-74 squads also won 13 in a row.
Who Benefits?
Proceeds from subscription sales assist student-athletes in meeting a variety of financial needs that arise in conjunction with participation in intercollegiate athletics and enrollment as a student. Preference for distribution of the funds is given to those student-athletes who display a financial need for help. Examples include: academic support & supplies, personal development services, health and medical expenses, and other urgent needs that comport with NCAA rules.
A similar program was established last season with sale of #33Trucking hats.
How much does it cost?
A subscription, which also provides the ability to view the series on-demand, costs $9.
