The University of Notre Dame ticket office announced today that admission to all 2017 women’s lacrosse regular-season home games will be free to all fans.
Irish women’s lacrosse initially became a ticketed sport in 2010 upon the completion of Arlotta Stadium. In 2017, fans will have the opportunity to attend women’s lacrosse games at no cost at Loftus Sports Center and Arlotta Stadium.
Notre Dame is scheduled to play eight regular-season home games this season. The Irish will host four games indoors at Loftus Sports Center and four at outdoor Arlotta Stadium. For the complete schedule, click here.
“As the fastest growing sport in the country, I'm excited that ND will offer a great fan experience for our local families,” head coach Christine Halfpenny said. “Our home schedule will offer our fans a free opportunity to see the highest caliber of women's lacrosse both in the ACC matchups and our non-conference rivalry games.”
Early-arriving fans to Notre Dame’s game versus Liberty at 7 p.m. ET on Feb. 10 will receive a free t-shirt as part of Free T-Shirt Friday. In addition, long-sleeved t-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on T-Shirt Tuesday when the Irish host Ohio State at 7 p.m. ET.
The Irish celebrate Senior Day at noon on April 15 versus Virginia Tech, and Notre Dame also will hold a postgame Easter Egg Hunt.
