Grotto Network, Notre Dame’s digital media initiative for evangelization, celebrated its first anniversary on Nov. 26, the University’s founding date. In its first year of seeking to inspire young Catholic adults, the initiative’s YouTube channel surpassed 1 million views and the network was nominated for four Emmy awards.
Grotto Network brought home two Emmys for its production of two stories: one video about The Bergamot, the husband-wife musical duo who work with a musical therapy program; and another feature about tattoo artists who are turning hate into beauty through their free service of covering up racist tattoos.
