The University is excited to host its 2nd Hesburgh Women of Impact retreat June 29 - July 1, 2018, when more than 50 leaders will return to Our Lady's University to participate in the event. While on campus, retreat attendees will be exposed to female faculty, students, and senior leaders from across the University. They will also visit a number of the newer buildings on campus and witness first-hand the impressive work ongoing at the Martin Media Center, LaBar Recital Hall, and Innovation Park. And no retreat would be complete without adequate time for reflection, education, and fun.
Hesburgh Women of Impact is a new initiative that originally began with the successful renovation of the North Entrance of the Hesburgh Library in 2016. Spearheaded by Notre Dame trustees, Anne Thompson '79 and Cindy Parseghian '77, the objectives of the Hesburgh Women of Impact initiative are three-fold: recognize and celebrate female leaders at Notre Dame; empower, nurture, and develop future female leaders within Notre Dame; invite philanthropic support of the mission of Our Lady's University in a personal, inspiring, and impactful manner.
