Incoming Freshman Wins Service Award

MARIETTA, Ga. - A Marietta teenager is trying to end homelessness in his community. And his work is gaining national attention.

Eighteen-year-old Colin Humble is a senior at George Walton Comprehensive High School.

Along with being a standout athlete and honor student, Humble has dedicated the last two and a half years to helping the homeless.

He and his brother started a ministry called "My Brother's Keeper". He and dozens of other volunteers, pack bags with food and toiletries to hand out to the homeless twice a month.They meet in the basement of his church to sort the supplies.
