MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The No. 22 University of Notre Dame men's tennis team closed out the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic on a strong note as it dropped No. 29 Cornell, 4-1, Sunday afternoon at Lagoon Park in Montgomery, Ala.
Notre Dame had to make a comeback against the Big Red as the Ivy League school claimed the doubles point with wins at one and two. Venkat Iyer and Alex Sidney won 8-6 at one over Greg Andrews and Spencer Talmadge and Jason Luu and Quoc-Daniel Nguyen took down Billy Pecor and Alex Lawson, 8-5, at two.
