Mass in Dublin Castle

mass_poster_finalA tradition of home games, Mass, will cross the Atlantic for the much anticipated game featuring Notre Dame and Navy in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday, September 1. Held on game day morning at 9 a.m., join Dublin Archbishop Diarmuid Martin and University President Rev. John Jenkins, C.S.C., celebrate Mass  in historic Dublin Castle.


Originally built in the 13th century on a site previously settled     by the Vikings, Dublin Castle functioned as a military fortress, a prison, treasury, courts of law and the seat of English Administration in Ireland for 700 years. Dublin Castle is now  used for important State receptions and Presidential Inaugurations.

The Mass at Dublin Castle will be free and open to the public. Please note: Mass will be held outdoors with standing room  for the general public.
