Men's Lacrosse to Play Challenging Schedule

Robby Hamman | January 23, 2017

The University of Notre Dame men's lacrosse program and Baumer Family Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Kevin Corrigan unveiled the 2017 schedule on Thursday, Jan. 19, an 11-game slate that features six contests at Arlotta Stadium and Loftus Sports Center.

"Once again we have as challenging of a schedule as anyone in the country," said Corrigan. "We will play all over the country geographically and match up against top 10 teams on a weekly basis. The schedule will be a great challenge and opportunity, as well as a great experience for our guys. This schedule will give us a chance to become the best team we can be."

The Irish have reached seven consecutive NCAA Championship quarterfinals entering the 2017 campaign. Notre Dame is set to return 19 monogram winners, including five starters from a squad that won a share of the 2016 ACC regular season title.

The Irish are scheduled to be on national TV five times during the 2017 regular season, as ESPNU will air Notre Dame's games against Georgetown (Feb. 18), Virginia (March 18), Syracuse (April 1), Duke (April 8) and North Carolina (April 22). Both the ACC semifinal games (April 28) and the ACC title game (April 30) also will be broadcast on ESPNU.

Season tickets are available now, with prices starting at just $20. The North Carolina game is already sold out, so fans encouraged to purchase a season ticket to guarantee their spot on April 22.
