ND Administrator to Run for Congress

A Notre Dame administrator, who felt compelled to go to Haiti after the earthquake, now wants to go to Washington D.C. after the government shut down.

“And I’ve responded to crisis all over the world and right now the biggest crisis that I see is in Washington, D.C.” said Joseph Bock, Director of Global Health Training at the Eck Institute for Global Health at Notre Dame. “When I did humanitarian work in, for instance, Haiti, I didn’t ask people if they were a Democrat or a Republican before we provided help,” said Bock.
