University of Notre Dame cheerleaders are in South Florida to root for their team and spread cheer to young hospital patients.
The Fighting Irish Cheerleaders brought lots of energy to the Children's Diagnostic Treatment Center in Fort Lauderdale Friday.
They walked the halls and greeted patients. "I wanted to be a cheerleader when I was little. I used to walk around the house with pom poms and a skirt," said young patient Chante'lae Carter who has Type I Diabetes.
