SOUTH BEND — Fans arriving in town for Notre Dame’s home football opener Saturday won’t see many switches in parking options or traffic routes.
Parking and traffic plans are largely unchanged from the 2011 season, Notre Dame Security Police Chief Phillip Johnson said.
However, the university on Saturday will unveil to fans a new free attraction, dubbed the Notre Dame Experience.
Located inside the north dome of the Joyce Center, the feature will include displays and interactive activities for each home game.
Kickoff for the game between Purdue and the Fighting Irish will be at 3:30 p.m. in Notre Dame Stadium.
