Duncan Stroik, professor of architecture at the University of Notre Dame, has won a 2013 Palladio Award for his creative restoration of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The Palladio Awards Program honors outstanding achievement in traditional design. Palladio award winners are designers whose work enhances the beauty and humane qualities of the built environment through creative interpretation or adaptation of design principles developed through 2,500 years of the Western architectural tradition.
