Sheehan Advances To World University Finals

The University of Notre Dame's `Shamrock Sisters' - a term the program uses for both their current student-athletes and alumnae around the world - continue to compete at a high level on international waters. 

Ailish Sheehan, a 2016 Notre Dame graduate and `16 CRCA Second-Team All-American, has helped Great Britain's Rowing Team advance to the A Finals of the World University Championships in Poznan, Poland.

Sheehan is a member of the Great Britain Women's Four, which finished second the second 2,000-meter heat (6:47.01) behind Germany (6:43.28) and automatically qualified for the A Finals, scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 4, at 3:02 p.m. local time.
