“When I watch the news I’m really concerned about social problems. And I’ve found that whatever the social ill may be, the answers are in history,” says Camille Suarez, a senior history major in Notre Dame’s College of Arts and Letters who will attend graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania in the fall.
Studying history and the liberal arts helped her become “somebody who could actually write something that’s persuasive, engaging, and smart,” Suarez says. “And I think that has been probably the most beneficial part of my career at Notre Dame.”
