Grant Mathews, professor of physics, will present "The Birth of the Universe and the Meaning of Space and Time: The Real Big Bang Theory" on Sunday, March 3 at 3:00 p.m. in the Digitial Visualization Theater at the Jordan Hall of Science. The talk is free and open to the public.
Utilizing the DVT to make a journey across the universe and into its deep past, we will examine how the universe is a time machine and how Einstein’s theory of relativity helps us to conceptualize the meaning of space and time.
